Pullover Prep terms of use

These terms cover your use of the Pullover Prep app, operated by Pullover Prep.

Not legal advice

Pullover Prep gives general information about traffic stops in the United States. It does not give legal advice and it does not create a lawyer-client relationship. Laws change and depend on facts. Entries marked "Needs verification" are not confirmed. You are responsible for your own decisions during a stop.

Stay calm. Keep your hands visible. Comply with lawful orders. Never physically resist. If you believe a stop was unlawful, raise it later in court with a lawyer.

Acceptable use

Do not use the app to interfere with an officer, to hide or destroy evidence, or to encourage another person to come to a stop and confront police. The emergency-contact message tells that person not to come to the scene. Recording is your decision, and it can be unlawful if you do it secretly or if you interfere. Read the state note first.

Cards you save

One insurance card, including the people named on it, is part of the free plan. A second card, a second vehicle, registration storage, a saved driver license, and expiration reminders are part of Standard.

A photo in the app is not a promise that an officer will accept it as proof of insurance. Many states have authorized an electronic card. Some officers still expect paper, or the insurer's own app. Where this release did not re-read the statute, the state rule stays marked "needs verification." Tell the officer before you reach for your phone. A saved license photo does not replace handing over the physical license when the law requires it.

Subscriptions

Standard is $4.99 per month or $39.99 per year. Premium is $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year. A 7-day free trial is offered to new subscribers when the store says they are eligible. If you are not eligible, the store charges the displayed price immediately.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account. The plan renews for the same period at the same price unless you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial or the current period. Manage or cancel the plan in your store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel it.

Restoring purchases uses the same store account. Pullover Prep does not run its own refund desk. Ask Apple or Google for a refund.

No warranty

The guides may be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. To the fullest extent the law allows, Pullover Prep is not liable for a stop, a citation, an arrest, a search, or any decision you make after reading the app. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so part of this sentence may not apply to you.

Changes

Pullover Prep can update the law text and these terms. The app shows a content version and a review date. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the new terms for the information they cover. Subscription terms that the store already disclosed stay governed by the store's rules.
